I sit and gaze out of my window at the cars, driven by people that I'll probably never know. Isn't it crazy that there are so many hearts? Some may be bursting, some are breaking filled with hurt.
And it just occurred to me that I'm not the only one, sitting gazing at this world feeling fearful, feeling small. We have shriveled, we're worn out. We have fallen, we have failed. What can warm our frostbit limbs? What can make us bloom again?
I thought falling in love might numb my loneliness. I soon found out my demons were alive and well. No matter how sweet, or how many thrills I found my days ended empty. All the joy had spilled right out.
And it just occurred to me that I'm not the only one sitting gazing at this world, feeling fearful, feeling small. We have shriveled, we're worn out. We have fallen, we have failed. What can warm our frostbit limbs? What can make us bloom again?
Ah! Come and fill us up. Ah! Won't you fill our cups? Ah! 'Til they overflow. Ah! Come and make us whole.
And it just occurred to me that I'm not the only one sitting gazing at this world, feeling fearful, feeling small. We have shriveled, we're worn out. We have fallen, we have failed. But you'll warm our frostbit limbs. You will make us bloom again. You will make us bloom again. Come and make me bloom again.

I don't know 'bout you, but I feel brighter now that summer has arrived. No more gloomy days inside! I don't know 'bout you, but I feel lighter. Dark and pensive thoughts are out once the sunlight draws my eye.
Tonight I know I'll be alright 'cause the heat is stirring feelings, and this time I will not fight. Let's find out if a spark will catch. When I caught your eye across the room I could've sworn you lit a match.
I don't know for sure, but this seems like a dream. Our lips met one summer night, my heart's soaring like a kite! Now I'm hoping that you'll stay right through the fall. Winter's colds not hard to bear when you're holding me so near.
Let's find out how long this could last. Perhaps minutes, maybe hours... Who knows what the future has in store for us? You just might be the one that I've hoped for all these years. At last my summer dream has come!

Simple

How is it that your love is so simple, when everything I do feels complicated? I tie my heart in knots and worry so, but one brush from your lips makes my heart lighter. Lighter.
The thrill that comes from your eyes locked with mine can scarcely be described, it's our foundation. The confidence that I have in your love is possibly naive, but I won't tame it. No I never will.
Although it's true that you could disappear tomorrow. A mere flirtation, a brief figment of my mind. I'm holding tight, yes I will trust each word you've spoken. A love like ours won't fade into the night.
How is it that your love is so simple, when everything I do feels complicated? I tie my heart in knots and worry so, but one brush from your lips makes my heart lighter. Lighter. I'm lighter when you're near to me. When you're near to me.

The time has come to choose. It's now our never. I can't stay here with you if we're not together.
Time's been running far away from you and me. Yeah, time's been running just as far as I can see.
Go on. Make up your mind. I'm tired of holding on. What's yours is no longer mine. Let's stop pretending.
"Cause time's been running far away from you and me. Yeah, time's been running just as far as I can see.
I was once your own, and you were mine. But time has changed things. Now my hands are numb, I can't hold on. Yeah, time has changed things.
Time's been running far away from you and me. Time's been running just as far as I can see. Yeah, time's been running far away from you and me. Time's been running just as far as I can see.
Now my mind's made up.
